I love the sidetracks/ anecdotes of his life; they really ‘top’ the book (ironic). Unfortunately, it was due for release just as the atrocities of 9/11 occurred so immediately the studios withdrew as you can probably imagine it would not have been appropriate to release a romantic comedy that was revolved around flight, airlines, and flight attendant recruitment. I'm not a massive reader, but I rattled through this in 3 nights, which is testament to Ayoade's brilliance - genuinely, never has a book filled me with such giddy delight.

. It is very amusing and has Ayoade's familiar dry humour and sharp as a tack persona!
