, but since this a secondary headset for music I wanted mid ground budged ones. Noise canceling is very minimum, but at the volumes I am listening I can't hear surroundings anyways. I have bought these headphones almost 2 years ago now. For this price range sound quality was really good and perfect fit for gaming.

Cups that cover the ear, very comfy. Would like to try other products from Superlux. This happened after about 1 year of usage, and somehow survived for another year. Soundstage is noticeable.

I will not be buying them again, as I would like to move to a higher price range / quality headphones now, but as a first headset I would definitely recommend these headphones . Mine unfortunately had a tear on the little headphone jack dangling on the side after 6 months use. It seems like the wire clip is completely unnecessary, as the wire stays attached when plugged in, so having the clip on just makes damage more likely if it is suddenly tugged.

I switch from having it at my desk and in bed because the cables are long enough, and I have tugged and dropped enough times to damage, but it still could have been fine if a slightly stronger/thicker/different material/coating was used, or it's not a dangling piece of wire. I wouldn't recommend these outside of home-listening, but if you are a music lover with a spare £35 do yourself a favour and pick these up. At this price you will struggle to find anything that produces sound like the Superlux HD668B's. Amazing headphones, the comfort can be upgraded with new pads which make these an absolute dream to use.

Like many on here I wasn't so keen on the leather earpads that came with them. Although they are an entirely different style of headphone/earphone I'd quite confidently say the sound quality of the Superlux' surpasses the Shure's and I also feel the benefit of the E1 Soundblaster more than when used with the Shure'sThe bass is far more controlled and doesn't muddy the mid's or highs, the highs are a tad overbright and have a harsh sibilance between the 4KHz and 16KHz range, this is partially down to the final mastering on some tracks and wasn't noticeable on most, but can easily be dialed down on an EQ. .

This is my second pair. For a beefy amp I wanted something that could handle the sound, and I was very happy and impressed how much beat it can reproduce without distorting it, feels like the head is vibrating. I had bought these as a replacement for my old gaming headset when it broke, after some recommendations from friends I decided to swap from a headset to headphones and a separate mic, this was the pair of headphones I chose.
