Would definitely recommend to others based on my experience so far. The same think happened with the saucepans. Looks good in my kitchen, boils fast and no noisier than any other metal kettle, I love it - Power cord isn't very long, roughly 30cm.

- Made from stainless steel, not plastic. The item arrived with a damaged outer paint surface as shown in the photo so was either a returned damaged item or it was damaged from new as the packaging wasn't damaged indicating it couldn't have happened in transit. The kettle delivered in time but damaged. Boils very quickly, holds plenty of water.

Honest Reviewer

I desperately needed the kettle and couldn't be bothered sending it back for this cosmetic fault, but I knocked a star off as it wasn't perfectly new. I’m not lucky person today. Cons:- Quite loud, but this is due to it boiling quickly. However the red colour is already starting to wear off around the lid - see photo.

Overall verdict:I'm really happy with this kettle. A full kettle boils in around one minute.
