The media could not be loaded. The wonderful Tim Budgen magnificently illustrates Matilda Rose’s tale of a misunderstood Pug who just so happens to have a magical unicorn horn. It has several themes all through the story.

This book is really colourful with lovely illustrations. My best part of the story is the inclusivity. the rejected becoming the most needed. Obviously with age appropriate story telling.

Fortunately his new owner discovers you should appreciate the pet you have, rather than wishing for other peoples. They have tried to illustrate different characters throughout the book so that you can identify yourself in the story. Themes like, 'don't judge a book by its cover' or ' the stone the builders rejected bocoming the chief corner stone'.
